Ibanez was founded in Japan in 1908 as Hoshino Gakki. Originally selling sheet music and accessories. It wasn’t until late 1920’s that Hoshino Gakki decided to introduce guitars. Since then Ibanez has been one of the most well known guitar brands across the world.
