Its single cutaway design compliments the selected tonewoods adding additional brightness and offering immediate access to higher frets. The Electro Acoustic features an oiled poplar laminate fretboard and bridge. Not only does this ensure that your playing surface is smooth and comfortable, it also improves stability and has a positive environmental impact as less wood is wasted during construction.

Cutaway design with premium tonewoods

Unlike a traditional non cutaway design, the Roundback’s cutaway body provides immediate access to upper frets, allowing you to practice scales and perform solos without restriction. The cubic meterage also proves useful in naturally providing a brighter, more present tone.

They’ll be nothing stopping you from achieve great tones thanks to the Roundback’s tonewood selection. The spruce top, mahogany neck and ABS body offer a tight low-end, controlled midrange and a pronounced top-end so you can achieve that iconic ‘80s Acoustic Rock sound, straight out of the box. For maximum aesthetic appeal, the Roundback comes complete with a cream 3ply binding which compliments the black finish.

Take advantage of the two-band equaliser to tweak your tone when performing through an amplifier. You’ll be free to adjust the bass and treble to achieve a sound that will suit any environment and can even achieve a mid-frequency boost by applying a low and high pass cut. The integrated tuner eliminates the need for tuning pedals and clip-on tuners, allowing you to streamline your set up whilst maintaining perfect pitch. The ABS body is the perfect pairing with the pickup as it reduces the risk of feedback for those performing close to their amplifier or monitor for professional performances without fail.
